The puppies were born by c- section June 9th- 2 boys and 5 girls. Mom is settling in and is doing very well as are all the babies. Just to add some fun, we always pick a theme to give temporary names to each litter. Since we have just returned from our Alaskan cruise, it seemed only right to have an Alaskan theme this time. The boys are Denali and Adak. The girls are Aurora, Juneau, Kiana, Sitka and Wasilla. I think you will find it helpful to distinguish the puppies as they grow. Please visit our boys page and our girls page to watch them as they grow. For those who don't know, GSPs are born white with the liver patches they will keep. As they mature the liver ticking appears. You can get a pretty good idea of how dark they will get by their feet. Pink feet will usually indicate that they will keep some of their white. Dark or "Inky" feet are usually a sign that they will be darker in color. I will be putting pictures up regularly so enjoy watching them grow and change.
